Thank you for your interest in presenting or speaking at DoingGood Week hosted by CU-Denver School of Public Affairs.

Why DoingGood Week?

Because…

  • Colorado has over 30,000 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
  • over 88% of them have an annual budget under $1M
  • volunteering is in a decade-long decline
  • most nonprofits are started by passion and not business
  • systems in place to support charities are antiquated and expensive
  • support for startups and small businesses are advancing so strongly in their community
  • and the fact that most startup programs and services are low or no cost while charity based support cost is rising

We created DoingGood Week.

Our Expectations

We expect our speakers and presenters…

  • to provide as much information as possible to attendees in a timely manner
  • to provide that information in the best possible format (Lecture, Workshop, Panel Discussion, Lecture/Workshop, etc.) so attendees can absorb it
  • to provide attendees with takeaways they can implement on the following Monday within their organization without the need to purchase a book, make contact with the presenter or speaker in order to implement what they learned, and move their organization forward based on the information you provided
  • to provide a list of resources to help implement what was learned, not just the contact info of the speaker/presenter
  • to provide all their contact information so that if a charity chooses to contact you, follow you, like you, friend you, support you, they are able through whatever forms they would like
  • YOU leverage your time to impact as many charities as are interested in your presentation
  • YOU see the impact of your presentation 3 and 6 months after the date of your presentation
  • YOU have fun knowing you are doing good for the community!
