Our Philosophy

“Give a Man a Fish, Feed Him for a Day; TEACH a Man to Fish, Feed Him for a Lifetime!”

Empowering Those Empowering Our Communities

We want to help those helping our community learn how to run a stronger and more effective and efficient organization by providing them with resources which have a low-barrier to acquire and implement.Nonprofits, especially smaller, local nonprofits, are part of the backbone of local communities. They focus their energies, funds, staff, volunteers and all their resources on trying to meet the needs of local communities. From animals to veterans, these nonprofits provide programs and services, which for the most part, support their local communities. But sometimes, their focus

But sometimes, their focus causes them to keep their heads to the grindstone to meet the community needs and rarely have the opportunity to spend time and resources on improving their operations, learning new strategies, keeping up with technology and so much more!

Nonprofits Are Businesses Too!

Nonprofits are a business. Before they can apply to be a 501(c)(3) public charity or the like, they have to form as a corporation in the state in which they are founded. Unfortunately for some, they forget they are businesses and many donors forget they are businesses as well. Challenges exist in maintaining nonprofits, although there are many reasons for this, here are a few:

  • Understaffed
  • Underfunded
  • Lack of time
  • Lack of volunteers
  • Lack of effective Board Members
  • Inefficiencies in operations
  • “Overhead Myth”
  • Lack of marketing
  • Funding challenges
  • Lack of awareness of what resources are available
  • Lack of time and resources to acquire or learn how to use those resources available to them
  • and so much more.

These are not challenges for every small nonprofit, but even a couple of them create some form of stress on the people wanting to DO GOOD for their community.

We are here to help! Help us empower them to DO GOOD in our communities!

DoingGood Foundation offers the most informative and useful education programs I have been to. The presenters are knowledgeable and generous and attendees are enthusiastic and friendly.

Are you still holding your nonprofit conference this year? This prices on here are outrageous, and I'd much rather attend yours.
